He obtained his master's degree in Electrical Engineering from INSA Strasbourg. He joined VATECH T&amp;D Grenoble (later Siemens T&amp;D) in 2006, where he worked as a Field Supervisor and Commissioning Engineer on numerous international electrical switchgear projects. Thomas Renaudin joined OMICRON France in 2009 as a technical applications engineer specializing in primary equipment testing and diagnostics. He is a chemical engineer and holds an industrial doctorate in thermal modeling of large shell-type power transformers from the University of Porto, Portugal. From 2006 to 2009, he began researching transformer thermal management as a consultant, and later, in 2010, he joined Efacec's Transformer Business Unit. Until 2023, he held various R&amp;D and engineering positions at Efacec, ranging from research and development to global management of the group's technology. In 2023, he joined Nynas as a technical expert in the application of transformer oils in power transformers, distribution transformers, instrument transformers, and switchgear. Hugo currently supports technical sales and marketing to external customers and end users throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He is the author of multiple publications related to transformer modeling, testing, and monitoring. He has been working at Efacec Energia since 1995, at the company's power transformer manufacturing facility in Porto, Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his career, Mario has become one of Efacec's leading experts in power transformer technology, with a deep specialization in shell-type transformers. His expertise covers the entire spectrum of the discipline: from the physical phenomena that define transformer design to advanced manufacturing processes, factory testing procedures, and quality control.<\/p>\n<p>Mario has held multiple roles within Efacec's transformer business unit, including product manager and various engineering leadership positions in both Portugal and the United States.
